Aden Park Mansion House sits within a green setting on the site; Trees encase the site settling the mansion remenants into the landscape. The site is heavily oriented towards a natural with a river located to the south and grass covering the immediate surroundings of the building.
The structure is for the most part untouched and stands alone, aside from the north side connected to a small wooded area, allowing daylight to permiate into the skeleton structure.
The main approach for visitors exists as a path from the steading cafe area. The path runs along the south facade past the buildign leading to a further woodland area. The building has muliple main facades and so perception of the entrance can be quite jumbled and confusing.
